In our founding year, ARC did not place. We did well on the Technical Presentation and one round of the Tennis-Ball mission, but not consistently enough across the board to place overall — a stark contrast to the following year.
The team and mechanism from that year:
In our second year, we brought home three awards. Team 2, the Flight Knights, earned the Sportsmanship Award and tied for the maximum Mission 2 score (a four-way tie), raising roughly $150 (whilst missing nats by ONLY 50 points). Team 1, the Flying Falcons, won Best Technical Presentation for $200 — $350 total across both teams.

In our third year, we brought home four awards. Team 2, the Flight Knights, earned first at regionals and third at nationals, raising roughly $2,750. Team 1, the Flying Falcons, won second at regionals and at nationals to secure $4,750 total across both teams.
